“Internet Connectivity Issues Due to Fiber Cable Damage in Uttar Pradesh”

Kathmandu – Nepal Telecom has officially reported issues with internet connectivity due to a fiber cable cut in Uttar Pradesh, India. The disruption in services was confirmed by the telecom company in a statement released on Monday.

The incident occurred in the state of Uttar Pradesh, where a fiber cable belonging to ‘Bharati Airtel Limited’ was damaged, affecting internet services in Nepal. This disruption has led to connectivity problems for users in Nepal, impacting various sectors that rely heavily on internet services.

Nepal Telecom is working closely with the suppliers in India to resolve the issue and restore connectivity as soon as possible. However, the exact timeline for the repair work and full restoration of services remains uncertain at this point.

In response to this situation, Ramesh Khatri, a spokesperson for Kansai Nepal News, expressed concerns about the impact of the internet disruption on businesses and individuals in Nepal. He emphasized the need for prompt action to address the issue and minimize the inconvenience caused to users. Khatri also highlighted the importance of having contingency plans in place to mitigate similar disruptions in the future.
