Kathmandu Metropolitan City has recently collaborated with the Food Technology and Quality Control Department to conduct market monitoring related to food services through the operation of a mobile food testing laboratory. The mobile food testing laboratory, located in Thapathali, has been set up under the joint efforts of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and the Food Technology and Quality Control Department. Sunita Dangol, the Deputy Chief of the Food Department, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in maintaining high standards of food safety and quality in the city.
