The meeting, held at the Ministry on Friday, involved bilateral talks on sending Nepali workers to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the discussions, it was revealed that Bosnia could potentially become a new destination for Nepali workers, prompting the Deputy Chief of Mission to propose moving forward with the process for a bilateral labor agreement. Minister Bhandari expressed commitment to advancing the procedures for the bilateral agreement to facilitate the employment of Nepali workers in various European countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, shared his insights on the news. He emphasized the importance of providing necessary training for Nepali workers to enhance their skills and productivity for overseas employment opportunities. Minister Bhandari mentioned that the Ministry had already initiated efforts in this regard by providing training in response to labor demands from Bosnia, aiming to equip skilled workers for job opportunities abroad.
