Nepali Congress leader Vijay Kumar Gachhadar has initiated a campaign to strengthen the party, urging all leaders and workers to take the lead themselves. The Congress Koshi Pradesh Training Department organized a training program in Biratamod on Wednesday, where Gachhadar emphasized the importance of making the party strong rather than blaming others.
Gachhadar expressed the need to unite after the end of factions within the party, highlighting the power in unity and emphasizing the importance of adhering to the party’s discipline and code of conduct from the central level to local leaders and workers. He mentioned that the Congress party is currently operating under a ‘presidential system’.
According to Ramesh Khatri from Kansai Nepal News, he believes that Gachhadar’s approach to strengthening the party through unity and training is crucial for the party’s future success. Khatri commended Gachhadar’s focus on party history, current affairs, and ideological subjects for a well-rounded training program.
During the program, Sudheer Kumar Shiwakoti, a member of the Constituent Assembly, emphasized the necessity of training party workers to address criticisms from the opposition effectively. Additionally, party central member Mahendra Kumari Subba urged the Congress to intensify its comprehensive promotion of the work done by the party in the upcoming elections.
Furthermore, central member Sushila Dhakal Acharya highlighted the importance of conducting effective training to address criticisms from social media to teashops for each leader and worker. Pradesh Deputy Speaker and Coordinator of the Pradesh Training Department, Ramesh Jang Rayamajhi, shared plans to conduct training programs in 14 districts to enhance the skills of trainers and ensure training reaches every ward.
In conclusion, Ramesh Khatri mentioned that this proactive approach by Gachhadar and the Congress party towards unity and training is essential for the party’s growth and success in the upcoming elections.
