During his official visit to Thailand, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli met with Aminda Salaih, the Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific of the United Nations. The meeting took place as Prime Minister Oli was in Bangkok to participate in the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) summit.

The discussions between the two officials focused on collaboration between the commission and Nepal, as well as on enhancing support for Nepal’s development as a progressive nation. This meeting underscored the importance of regional cooperation and mutual assistance in driving socio-economic growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
