Kathmandu – The Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security has revealed that the syndicate system has not been implemented for sending workers to Malaysia. The Nepali government claims to have followed an unbiased and transparent recruitment process since the past, ensuring that there is no syndicate involved in sending workers abroad.
In recent developments, the Ministry clarified that the syndicate system, which often leads to exploitation and unfair treatment of migrant workers, has not been in place for sending workers to Malaysia. This announcement comes as a reassurance of the government’s commitment to fair and transparent labor practices.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his opinion on this matter, stating that the government’s stance on eliminating syndicates in labor migration is a positive step towards safeguarding the rights and welfare of Nepali workers abroad. He emphasized the importance of ensuring a level playing field for all workers and preventing any form of exploitation in the recruitment process.
