The Ministry of Finance has finalized guidelines for the translation of the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83. According to the ministry, the guidelines for translating the budget have been issued in accordance with the Economic Procedure and Financial Accountability Act, 2076.
The increased pressure on resource management and the need to enhance public revenue have necessitated the expansion of economic activities. In light of the prioritization of planning and programs due to the prevailing situation, the ministry has urged to pay serious attention to the mentioned subjects in the guidelines.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, stated that the release of these guidelines is a significant step towards ensuring transparency and accountability in budget translations. He emphasized the importance of adhering to these guidelines to effectively manage economic activities and financial responsibilities.
