Kathmandu: The present anti-establishment royalist group, the ‘Rajasamstha Restoration Joint People’s Movement Committee’, has declared its intention to strengthen the ongoing movement from March 21 for the restoration of the monarchy. The committee’s coordinator, Navaraj Suvedi, announced this after holding a press conference in the capital on Thursday. The movement aims to rally support and increase momentum for their cause.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, believes that the resurgence of royalist sentiments reflects a growing dissatisfaction with the current political landscape. He highlights the need for a thorough analysis of the factors fueling this movement and its potential implications for the country’s democratic setup.
