Kathmandu – The Nepali team returned home on Friday after participating in the World Para Athletics Grand Prix. The competition took place from March 7 to 13 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, India. Pratibha Angdembe awarded Nepal with a silver medal during the event.
The Nepali contingent, led by Pratibha Angdembe, showcased their talent and determination at the prestigious event. The World Para Athletics Grand Prix provided a platform for athletes from various countries to compete and display their skills in different categories of para sports.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his admiration for the Nepali team’s performance at the event. He highlighted the significance of such international competitions in promoting inclusivity and recognizing the talent of para athletes on a global stage. Khatri commended the efforts of the athletes and hoped that their achievements would inspire more participation and support for para sports in Nepal.
