“Nepal loses to Namibia by 23 runs in Women’s T20 International Cricket”

Nepal faced a defeat against Namibia in their fourth match of the Women’s T20 International Cricket Tournament. The game, which took place on Wednesday, saw Nepal losing to Namibia by 23 runs.

The match, held at the Entebbe Cricket Ground in Uganda, saw Namibia winning the toss and opting to bat first. They managed to score a total of 125 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Yasmeen Khan played a crucial role in their innings, scoring 45 runs off 44 balls with the help of five boundaries. Vilko Mwatile contributed 20 runs, Arrasta Diergaardt scored 16, and captain Suné Wittmann added 15 runs to the total.

For Nepal, Ishwari Bishwakarma took the most wickets, claiming three, while Rachana Kumari Chaudhary, Riya Sharma, and Indu Barma each took one wicket. Despite Namibia setting a target of 126 runs, Nepal could only manage to score 102 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs.

This marks Nepal’s third consecutive loss in the ongoing tournament. In their first match, Nepal was defeated by Namibia by 6 wickets, followed by a victory over the home team Uganda by one wicket. In the third match, Nepal lost to Hong Kong by two runs.

In the previous matches, Namibia had also defeated Nepal, Hong Kong by four wickets, and Uganda by one run.
