Nepal faced a defeat against Scotland by 34 runs in the final match of the ICC T20 series held in Scotland. Despite the intense competition between Nepal, the Netherlands, and Scotland in the triangular series, where Nepal ranked fourth with 4 points, Scotland emerged as the winner based on run rate, securing the top position while Nepal settled for second place.

In the last game, Scotland scored 193 runs after losing 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Chasing a target of 194 runs, Nepal could only manage to score 159 runs in 18.5 overs, losing all their wickets. Rupesh Singh remained the top scorer for Nepal with 43 runs undefeated.

The Nepalese team had a rocky start, with opener Kushal Bhurtel getting out for 4 runs, followed by dismissals of Ashif Sheikh (14), Bheem Sarki (12), Rohit Paudel (27), and Aarif Sheikh (5).

The innings came to a halt with Dipendra Singh Airee getting out for 34 runs, while Lokesh Bam (5), Rajan Dhakal (5), Sandeep Lamichhane (0), and Lalit Rajbanshi (1) also fell quickly.
