Despite their efforts, Nepal failed to find the back of the net, resulting in a 2-0 defeat against Thailand. In a previous match held on Friday, Nepal had also suffered a 1-0 loss against Thailand.

Due to electrical issues at the Thammasat Stadium, the game experienced a delay of 30 minutes from the scheduled time. The match was supposed to kick off at 4:45 Nepali time.

As part of their preparations for the upcoming Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers in Uzbekistan, Nepal engaged in a friendly match with Thailand. The Women’s Asian Cup football tournament is set to begin on June 29. In the Asian Cup qualifiers, the Nepali women’s team is placed in Group F along with hosts Uzbekistan, Laos, and Sri Lanka.
