In the bustling area of Sannomiya-Isogami in Kobe, a commercial building inspired by the South Pacific has been completed. Known as the “Rani Isogami,” this structure is situated about a 10-minute walk southeast from JR Sannomiya Station, nestled on the mountain side overlooking Isogami Park. Adjacent to it stands the experiential facility of Königskrone, the “Handmade Sweets Hall.”
The KO2A Building underwent a transformation, renewing its exterior and interior to embody the essence of the South Pacific with large windows and terraces. Following the renovation, it officially opened its doors in late November 2024, boasting a stunning illumination at night that completely alters its appearance from its previous state.
A section of the premises welcomes food trucks, drawing crowds during lunch hours with a variety of rotating vendors. As for fixed tenants, only one store, “KANKO SHOP,” specializing in “Kobe Model Standard Clothing,” has opened so far during the festive season of Christmas.
The upcoming tenants for the ground floor facing the road are scheduled to open in June, adding to the anticipation of what they will offer. Similarly, all tenants on the fourth floor are slated to open around the same time, with a focus on wellness-related establishments like salons, yoga studios, cafes, and eateries.
Excitement looms as the spaces continue to be filled, aiming for a grand simultaneous opening in June. Moreover, developments are underway for a bus terminal in the vicinity of Rani Isogami, along with potential construction activities where parking lots are being dismantled. This area is indeed poised to become a hub of interest and development in the near future.
