The Nepal Oil Corporation has announced a reduction of NPR 3 per liter in the prices of petroleum products. This decision comes as a result of a decrease in fuel prices from India, with adjustments being made accordingly in Nepal. The Corporation has stated that the new prices for petrol, diesel, and kerosene will come into effect starting Wednesday.

With this price reduction, petrol will now be priced at NPR 160 per liter in Kathmandu, while diesel and kerosene will be priced at NPR 146 per liter. The Nepal Oil Corporation’s decision to lower the prices aims to provide relief to consumers amidst the fluctuating global fuel market.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, emphasized that such a move by the Nepal Oil Corporation will have a positive impact on the general public, especially during these challenging times. He noted that reducing fuel prices will help in stabilizing the economy and easing the financial burden on individuals and businesses.
