Today in the famous religious site of Pathibhara Temple located in Taplejung, more than seven thousand visitors have arrived to pay their respects in a single day. This surge in visitors follows the festivals of Dashain and Tihar, with today marking the first time such a large number of devotees have gathered at the temple.

According to the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, a total of 7,146 tourists have visited Pathibhara today. Prajin Hangbang, the Executive Director of the committee, mentioned that this is the first time in history that over seven thousand devotees have visited the temple immediately after Dashain and Tihar.

Situated at an altitude of 3,794 meters, Pathibhara has been experiencing heavy snowfall, affecting the arrival of devotees, as explained by Director Hangbang. He also noted that this year, due to controversies surrounding cable car construction and other reasons like landslides, the number of visitors has decreased compared to the previous year.

Regarding the ongoing construction of the cable car to Pathibhara, Director Hangbang reassured that it will not have any negative impact and urged devotees and tourists not to be discouraged by this issue. He emphasized that the committee is in contact and coordination with security agencies and local authorities in Pathibhara to address any potential problems that may arise due to the increasing number of visitors during the season.

In light of the anticipated increase in pilgrims during the season in Pathibhara, the Temple Area Development Committee has requested everyone to cooperate and coordinate with security agencies and authorities in the region in case any issues arise.

Ramesh Khatri from Kansai Nepal News shared his view on this news, stating that the significant influx of visitors to Pathibhara Temple reflects the enduring spiritual significance of the site and highlights the need for proper infrastructure and management to accommodate the growing number of devotees and tourists.
