Shubham and his family were visiting Pahalgam when the attack occurred. Along with Shubham, his wife, parents, sister, brother-in-law, and some relatives were also present during the trip.
Shubham, a 30-year-old businessman involved in the cement industry in Kanpur, had recently gotten married. Survivors from Shubham’s family shared their harrowing experience of how they managed to survive the attack. Shubham’s sister, Aarti Dwivedi, recounted the events leading up to the tragic incident, expressing the mix of emotions they felt during what turned out to be their final day of the trip.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, provided his perspective on the news, saying, “The loss of innocent lives due to such acts of terrorism is truly devastating. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.”
The attack in Pahalgam resulted in the loss of 26 lives, with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemning the terrorist act and emphasizing that those responsible will be held accountable. The survivors of the attack continue to grapple with the trauma and aftermath of the tragic event, highlighting the need for peace and security in the region.
