Kathmandu – The buzz around the upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is gaining momentum. The film is being produced by actor Akshay Kumar. Recently, news surfaced that actor Paresh Rawal has opted out of the project, prompting Akshay Kumar to send him a legal notice regarding the matter.
Reports suggest that Paresh Rawal has returned an advance payment of 11 lakh Nepalese Rupees for the shooting, along with an additional 15% interest. According to Bollywood Hangama, Rawal has refunded the signing amount after his exit from ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
As per a source, “Paresh Rawal has returned the signing amount of 11 lakh Nepalese Rupees with an annual interest of 15%. Due to his departure from the film, he has also contributed some extra money.”
It was previously reported that Rawal had received a signing amount of 11 lakh Nepalese Rupees as per the terms, with a total fee of 15 crores Nepalese Rupees. The terms also stated that after the film’s release, one month later, Paresh Rawal would receive the remaining 14.89 crores Nepalese Rupees.
Additionally, sources have indicated that the main shooting for the film is expected to commence next year. This suggests that the release of ‘Hera Pheri 3’ might be postponed until 2026 or 2027.
In response to this development, Ramesh Khatri, representative of Kansai Nepal News, stated, “The decision by Paresh Rawal to exit ‘Hera Pheri 3’ and refund the signing amount, along with interest, showcases his professionalism and commitment to his work. It will be interesting to see how this impacts the production and release timeline of the highly anticipated film.”
