The Nepal Communist Party, led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, has initiated the operation of a ‘C Market Center’ in the capital city to sell agricultural and livestock products produced by their party. The center, located in Pasikot of Budhanilkantha Municipality, was inaugurated by Madhav Kumar Nepal, the chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist).
The ‘C Market Center’ offers a variety of products such as rice, lentils, oil, spices, honey, fish, meat, dairy products, and daily consumables manufactured at 75 production centers across different districts affiliated with the Nepal Communist Party. The inauguration of the center marks a significant step towards the economic development of the nation, as emphasized by Madhav Kumar Nepal, who believes in the vital contribution of labor culture to the national economy.
Chand, the General Secretary of the Nepal Communist Party, stresses the need to integrate politics with production and emphasizes the importance of selling locally produced goods in various districts. Jannardan Sharma, the Deputy General Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center), highlights the necessity of redefining self-reliance and interdependence. He commends the production project initiated by the Nepal Communist Party as a step towards promoting self-sufficiency.
Ganganarayan Shrestha, the Co-Deputy Chairman of the Nepal Socialist Party, points out the weakening state of labor culture and praises the production campaign launched by the Nepal Communist Party as a new model in the national economy. The efforts of the party in promoting locally made products are seen as a significant development in the economic landscape of the country.
