Pokhara Thunder’s make history with win over Dhangadhi in NSL final
Kathmandu, May 10 – In a thrilling qualifier match held at Dashrath Stadium on Wednesday, Pokhara Thunder’s secured their spot in the final of the Nepal Super League (NSL) 2025. The team emerged victorious by defeating former runners-up Dhangadhi FC with a score of 1-0, marking their first entry into the final.
The game remained goalless until the designated time, but it was Pokhara Thunder’s Stephan Samir Vinoth who scored the decisive goal during injury time, securing the historic win for his team.
With this win, Pokhara Thunder’s will now compete for the championship title against former NSL champions Lalitpur City FC in the final showdown scheduled for the upcoming Saturday.
