Kathmandu: The Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) has assigned the responsibility of Chief Secretary of the Central Party Office to Ganeshman Pun, a member of the Standing Committee. This decision was made known by a leader who informed Pun of this responsibility after the meeting held on Monday, during which the current Chief Secretary, Shriram Dhakal, was absent.
In a similar vein, the party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has appointed Govinda Acharya as the chief personal secretary. Furthermore, Ramesh Mall has been given the responsibility of Deputy Chief Secretary of a particular province.
Opinion from Ramesh Khatri, representative of Kansai Nepal News: “The recent reshuffling of key positions within the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) reflects a strategic move to strengthen the party’s organizational structure. These appointments seem to be aimed at enhancing coordination and efficiency within the party, which could potentially lead to a more cohesive and effective leadership.”
