Kathmandu – Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli departed for Spain on Saturday to participate in the ‘International Conference on Financing for Development of United Nations (FFD-4)’ to be held in Seville, Spain. The conference, with participation from 21 member countries, is being hosted on the invitation of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, and the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez. Leading the delegation, Prime Minister Oli set off for the event.
During his visit, Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to engage in diplomatic meetings with King Felipe VI of Spain and his counterpart, Prime Minister Sánchez. The trip includes discussions on various bilateral issues and fostering friendly relations.
The delegation comprises prominent figures such as Radhika Shakya, the first lady, Vishnu Prasad Rimma, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister, Amrit Bahadur Rai, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ghanshyam Upadhyay, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Rajkumar Shrestha, Secretary of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office, Rajesh Bajracharya, Chief Personal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Dr. Smriti Shakya, Private Physician to the Prime Minister, Krishna Prasad Dhakal, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaniram Sharma, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, and Mahapal Kumar Raj Kharel, Protocol Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
