“Prime Minister’s Commitment to Reclaim Encroached Land in Kohalpur”

Kathmandu – Today, the issue regarding the encroachment of approximately 28 bighas of land surrounding the cricket field of Kohalpur Municipality Ward No. 11 in Kohalpur Nagar, Banke, has garnered attention. This matter has been ongoing for quite some time and has now come to the forefront for further examination. The cricket field, managed by the Kohalpur Nagar Development Committee, is facing encroachment issues that have raised concerns among the local authorities and residents.

The situation has prompted discussions about the importance of preserving public spaces and ensuring the proper utilization of community resources for recreational activities. The encroachment of the cricket field’s surrounding area not only poses a threat to the integrity of the sports facility but also raises questions about land management and urban planning in the region.

Ramesh Khatri, representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his concern over the encroachment issue, emphasizing the need for immediate action to address the situation. He stated that such encroachments not only disrupt the functioning of public amenities but also reflect broader challenges in land governance.
