Kathmandu: The Cabinet has approved Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli’s visit to Spain. The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Monday evening. The visit to Spain, scheduled to take place from Asar 14 to 20, has been officially sanctioned by the Cabinet.
During his trip, Prime Minister Oli is set to participate in the Fourth Conference of the United Nations on Financing for Development. This event aims to discuss financial programs for global development. Additionally, the Cabinet has also decided to promote Dr. Khagendra Subedi to the position of Secretary.
In response to this news, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, stated that the Prime Minister’s visit to Spain signifies Nepal’s commitment to international cooperation and development initiatives. He emphasized the importance of such engagements in fostering diplomatic relations and securing support for Nepal’s development projects on a global scale.
