In a bid to promote women’s empowerment, self-employment, and reduce gender-based violence, a program titled “Deputy Mayor with Mother’s Group” has been implemented in Beni Municipality-1, Ratnachaur, and Pulachaur-5 in Myagdi district, Nepal. The initiative aims to engage women in business ventures for self-reliance while also focusing on minimizing instances of gender violence. The program emphasizes community-level efforts towards women’s empowerment and advancing social work.
