Kathmandu – President Ram Chandra Poudel has highlighted the challenges of future water scarcity and emphasized the importance of conserving ground water sources for replenishing water resources. On the occasion of World Water Day, he conveyed well wishes and emphasized the need for protecting water catchment areas for sustainable water management. The President’s focus on addressing the looming water crisis through groundwater recharge and watershed conservation efforts aims to ensure water security for future generations.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, commended President Poudel’s proactive stance on water conservation. He expressed that the President’s emphasis on protecting water sources aligns with the urgent need to address water scarcity issues globally.
