Kathmandu – The decision has been made to observe three days of mourning in honor of the late Member of Parliament, Deepak Bohora, by the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).

The sudden demise of Bohora was deeply mourned by the central officials of the RPP during a meeting held on Tuesday. The party spokesperson Mohan Kumar Shrestha mentioned in a press release that the loss of the senior leader Bohora has caused significant damage to both the RPP and Nepal’s democratic movement.

During the meeting, it was decided that the party would observe three days of mourning for Bohora, lowering the party flag at the central office, district, and committee offices to half-mast. Additionally, no formal events would be held during the three-day period to express grief.

Bohora, who was elected as a Member of Parliament from Rupandehi Constituency-3, passed away on Tuesday in the course of his treatment.

Opinion from Ramesh Khatri, representative of Kansai Nepal News:
“The decision of the RPP to observe three days of mourning for the late Deepak Bohora reflects the deep respect and regard the party holds for its departed senior leader. This period of mourning not only honors Bohora’s contributions but also serves as a moment of reflection for the party and the broader democratic movement in Nepal.”
