Marine archaeologists have recently made a significant discovery off the coast of Central America in the waters of Costa Rica. They have identified the wreckage of two ships that have been lost for centuries as Danish slave ships. The vessels, whose whereabouts had been unknown for several hundred years, were found submerged near Costa Rica.

According to information from the National Museum of Denmark, the wreckage has been the subject of study and research for many years. The identification of these ships sheds light on a dark chapter of history when Denmark was involved in the transatlantic slave trade.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his views on this discovery. He emphasized the importance of uncovering and acknowledging historical events like this to understand the impact of slavery on different regions and cultures. Khatri also highlighted the role of maritime archaeologists in preserving and interpreting such significant remnants of the past.
