Reporting Three Incidents: Issue Affecting Eight People to be Addressed

A recent incident of violence occurred during a demonstration by royalists in Tin Kune, which has prompted authorities to take action against eight individuals allegedly involved. The District Police Office in Kathmandu has prepared a report recommending legal actions against the suspects in connection with the violent incident.

According to the spokesperson of the area, Police Inspector Apilraj Bohara, the report has been submitted to inform the concerned parties about the investigation and the proposed legal measures. The police have spent approximately two months investigating the incident to gather evidence and compile the report.

The report mentions that the suspects are accused of various offenses, including inciting violence, causing harm, acting against the state, engaging in criminal activities, and involvement in organized crime. The incident took place on March 15 during a royalist demonstration, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. Among the accused are prominent figures such as Deputy Chairman Ravindra Mishra of the RPP, Minister Dharan Shamsher Jabra, and medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai.

The District Government Attorney’s Office had prepared to file charges immediately, but due to time constraints, the registration process has been delayed until Sunday.

Regarding this news, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed concern about the rise in political violence and urged authorities to swiftly address such incidents to maintain peace and order in the region.
