In Kathmandu, an event was organized on Thursday to demand the establishment of a Hindu nation in Nepal. The event saw the participation of various religious organizations and members of the entire Omkar family.
The call for a Hindu nation was made in the interest of promoting social harmony and national unity. The event aimed to bring together different religious organizations under the banner of ‘Sanatan Hindu State’ to foster peaceful coexistence and unity in the country.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his views on the matter. “The demand for a Hindu nation reflects the sentiments of a significant portion of the population in Nepal. It is essential to respect the diverse religious beliefs and practices in the country while also fostering a sense of unity and harmony among the people,” he stated.
The event highlighted the ongoing discussions and debates surrounding the status of Nepal as a secular state and the push by some groups for a re-establishment of a Hindu state. As Nepal continues to navigate its religious and cultural landscape, the call for a Hindu nation remains a topic of significant interest and discussion among various segments of society.
