France’s proposed temporary ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine has been met with a negative response from the Russian Foreign Ministry. Spokesperson Maria Zakharova from the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed skepticism towards the proposal.
Zakharova stated on the 6th that the ceasefire proposal put forth by France, focusing on maritime and airspace restrictions as well as protection of energy facilities, did not align with Russia’s current strategic objectives in the region. The proposal aimed to de-escalate tensions between the two nations amid ongoing conflicts.
In response to this development, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, emphasized the importance of diplomatic negotiations in resolving the crisis. Khatri highlighted the need for all parties involved to engage in constructive dialogue to achieve a peaceful resolution and avoid further escalation of the conflict. He also stressed the significance of international cooperation in facilitating a lasting ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
