In a tragic incident at the Idyllic International School located in Kalanki, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14, a collision involving a school van resulted in the death of a student on Monday. The victim, identified as Sonakshi Yadav, a 9-year-old resident of Sarlahi who lived in Kuleshwor, Kathmandu, succumbed to her injuries at the Shahid Memorial Hospital while receiving treatment. The collision also left five individuals hospitalized at Nepal National Hospital and one at Bayodha Hospital in Balkhu.
The driver of the van involved in the accident is also currently undergoing treatment at Bayodha Hospital in Balkhu, as confirmed by the district police spokesperson, Apilraj Bohara. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident to determine the cause and responsibility.
