In a recent incident in Bardia, Nepal, the local police have successfully recovered stolen goods worth approximately NPR 119,000. The stolen items, including clothing, plastic doors, and chemical fertilizer, were stolen and taken to the Rajapur warehouse for further investigation.
After a thorough three-day investigation, the stolen goods were found at the Bardia District Police Office by Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer Chakrabahadur Damrapal. The stolen items, which included clothing, plastic doors, and chemical fertilizer, were traced back to Gulriya Municipality Ward No. 11, where around NPR 42,700 worth of goods were recovered. Additionally, from Bansgadhi Municipality Ward No. 1, stolen red meat clothing worth around NPR 49,300 was seized, and from Parsiya in Gulriya Municipality Ward No. 8, approximately NPR 27,300 worth of DAP and urea fertilizer was confiscated by the police.
Damrapal emphasized that the seized goods have been crucial evidence for further legal action. The Rajapur warehouse has been informed of the recovered goods for necessary legal procedures.
In response to this news, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, stated that such swift actions by the police are commendable and reassuring for the community. He highlighted the importance of effective law enforcement in maintaining security and preventing criminal activities in the region.
