In a recent development, the government of Nepal has announced new restrictions in Kathmandu valley to curb the spread of COVID-19. The restrictions include the closure of schools, colleges, gyms, and cultural centers for two weeks. Additionally, public gatherings have been limited to 25 people, and all government offices have been instructed to operate with only 50% of their staff.

Ramesh Khatri from Kansai Nepal News stated, “These new restrictions are crucial in containing the spread of the virus and protecting the health of the citizens. It is a challenging time for everyone, but these measures are necessary to ensure the safety of the community.”
