Morang: Construction of the ‘Asian Highway’, aimed at connecting Asian nations through road networks, is progressing steadily. With 12% of the work completed within a year of signing the construction agreement, the Asian Highway, also known as Asian Highway Number 2, is set to enhance connectivity and facilitate smoother transportation across the region.
The Asian Highway project holds significant importance for improving trade, tourism, and overall economic development among the participating countries. This ambitious initiative is expected to strengthen regional cooperation and foster closer ties between nations.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, views the progress of the Asian Highway construction positively.
