Kathmandu, Nepal – Today marks the third day of trading on the stock market, with a modest increase in the general index. The Nepse index has climbed by 85 points to reach 2,675 points.
On Tuesday, there were 318 companies involved in trading, with a total of 59,633 transactions of shares amounting to NPR 1.42 billion. The total trading amount has reached NPR 6.52 billion.
The share prices of 85 companies have seen an increase, while 161 companies have witnessed a decrease. Today, positive circuit breakers have been applied to the share prices of Corporate Development Bank, Omegaspharma Cuticals, Green Development Bank, and Geographical Energy Development Company.
Furthermore, the share price of Panchakanya Energy has surged by 9.99%. Universal Power Company has recorded the highest trading volume today.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, commented on the developments, stating, “The positive trend in the stock market today reflects the growing confidence among investors. It’s encouraging to see a mix of companies experiencing both gains and losses, indicating a dynamic market environment.”
