Members of the Parliament have put forth demands for the budget to prioritize the effective implementation of the constitution and strengthening federalism during Tuesday’s meeting. They emphasized the importance of economic prosperity for the overall development of the country.
In his stance, Member of Parliament Ambar Bahadur Raimajhi highlighted the need for the budget to focus on principles and policies that drive the economic prosperity of the nation. He emphasized the importance of consistency in policies, dynamism in the economy, and rapid progress in development as key factors for economic improvement.
Representative Ramesh Khatri from Kansai Nepal News expressed his opinion on the matter, stating that the government’s review of past actions to fulfill the aspirations of Nepali citizens could pave the way for new approaches towards constitutional implementation and budget prioritization.
Moreover, Member of Parliament Kiran Kumar Sah stressed that the upcoming budget should aim to enhance sustainability, prosperity, social justice, and inclusive development. He emphasized the necessity of budget centralization in building the required legal, financial, and administrative framework for federalism implementation.
Additionally, MP Lekhnath Dahal emphasized the importance of clarity in principles, truthfulness in facts, priority in planning, and efficiency in execution to achieve positive outcomes driven by the budget.
