Kathmandu, Nepal – The newly appointed Italian Ambassador to Nepal, Antonio Bartoli, held discussions with Sanjay Agrawal, President of the Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral trade, investment, tourism, and development between the two countries.
Also present at the meeting were Riccardo della Costadue, the Honorary Consul General of Italy in Kolkata, Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, the Honorary Consul of the Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pratima Rana Pandey, the Honorary Consul General of Italy for Nepal, and other board members.
The main topics of discussion revolved around boosting bilateral trade, expanding business networks, and increasing investments in key sectors. Ambassador Bartoli expressed Italy’s commitment to strengthening economic cooperation with Nepal in areas such as tourism, infrastructure, and technology.
President Agrawal reaffirmed the Chamber’s role in connecting the business communities of Nepal and Italy and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to further strengthen the relations between Nepal and Italy through strategic initiatives and collaborative programs in the coming years.
