The Nepal Chamber of Commerce has recently put forward suggestions to the government regarding its upcoming economic policies and programs for the fiscal year 2082/83. These recommendations were conveyed to the Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, by the President of the Chamber, Chandraprasad Dhakal, during a meeting held on Wednesday.

Dhakal emphasized the importance of aligning the government’s policies with the current economic landscape to promote growth and stability in the industrial and commercial sectors. The Chamber’s suggestions likely encompass a range of issues, from taxation and trade regulations to investment incentives and infrastructure development.

In response to these suggestions, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed optimism about the potential impact of these recommendations on Nepal’s economy. Khatri highlighted the significance of fostering a conducive environment for businesses to thrive and contribute to the country’s economic progress. He believes that implementing the Chamber’s suggestions could lead to positive outcomes for both businesses and the overall economy.
