The Supreme Court has issued an order to the protesting teachers in Kathmandu to return to schools within three days. The order, issued on Wednesday by Justice Nahakul Subedi, stated that the demands of the protesting teachers should be addressed through appropriate decisions by opposition parties within the specified timeframe.

The order mandates the protesting teachers to ensure a conducive environment for regular teaching and learning activities in schools within three days of receiving the order. It also requires the teachers to be present at their respective schools to carry out teaching duties appropriately.

For some time now, teachers in Kathmandu have been protesting and demanding various service facilities. The Supreme Court’s order seems to temporarily halt their protests, emphasizing the need for them to resume their teaching duties promptly.

Ramesh Khatri, representing Kansai Nepal News, stated that the Supreme Court’s intervention is crucial to maintain educational stability and ensure that the demands of the protesting teachers are addressed through proper channels. He emphasized the importance of finding a balanced solution that benefits both the teachers and the students.
