Residents of Adanchuli Rural Municipality in Humla and Soru Rural Municipality in Mugu have been facing ongoing issues with telephone and internet services for years. Recently, the introduction of the fourth-generation mobile data service, known as the ‘Forjee’ service, has brought joy to the local residents. This service has been operational since the 17th of Poush, 2073 BS.

The lack of reliable communication infrastructure in these remote areas has been a longstanding challenge for the residents. With the introduction of the ‘Forjee’ service, locals are now able to access faster and more reliable mobile data services, significantly improving their connectivity.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his opinion on this development. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in bridging the digital divide and enhancing communication services in remote regions like Humla and Mugu. Khatri highlighted the positive impact of the ‘Forjee’ service, noting that it has brought happiness to the residents by addressing their long-standing communication challenges.
