“Three Additional Prisoners Released by Hamas”

In Kathmandu, Hamas has released three more captives, as reported by the BBC on Saturday. The individuals who have been granted their freedom include 34-year-old Yardan Bibas from Jordan, 53-year-old Franco-Israeli national Ofer Kaldron, and 65-year-old American-Israeli citizen Kith Sigel. These releases add to the total of 18 individuals who have now been set free by Hamas, following a ceasefire agreement that took effect on the 6th of Magh.

This recent release brings the total number of captives released by Hamas to 18, with three captives being released on the day of the ceasefire on Magh 6. Shortly after, four individuals were also set free, followed by the release of eight captives on Thursday. As the 42-day ceasefire progresses, a total of 33 individuals are expected to be freed, with over 2,000 Palestinian prisoners slated for release.
