Kathmandu – The police have arrested an additional 24 individuals on allegations of involvement in the recent incidents in which three cases were linked. The three incidents that occurred on Chaitra 15 included violent protests, unruly activities, and vandalism during an organized event.
According to District Police Office spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Apil Raj Bohara, the arrests were made in connection with the accusations of being involved in the aforementioned incidents. He stated, “24 more individuals have been arrested on charges related to the incidents. Prior to this, 41 individuals were arrested and the investigation has been further intensified.”
The arrested individuals have been informed by the District Police Office that they were apprehended from various locations. Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his opinion on the matter, stating, “The police’s swift action in apprehending those involved in the incidents is commendable. It is crucial for maintaining law and order in society, and such measures contribute to a safer community for all.”
