“Tiger Cup Champions Crown Organizers with Victory”

In Kaski, the Tiger Group of Pokhara has emerged victorious in the Tiger Cup Volleyball Tournament organized by them. The Tiger Cup is a national and international volleyball competition for both men and women, with the women’s team of the organizers clinching the title.

The intense competition took place at the Pokhara Rangashala, where the host team secured their first title by defeating the previous edition’s champions, the Armed Police Force (APF) Club, in a thrilling 3-2 set match. The organizers lost the first set 17-25 but bounced back to win the second set 29-27. They then surrendered the third set 21-25 to APF before dominating the fourth set with a score of 25-16, ultimately sealing the victory in the fifth set with a close 15-13 scoreline.

The event saw the host team deliver an outstanding performance in the fifth set, clinching the title after a hard-fought battle. This victory marks the first time the organizing team has claimed the championship title. As the newly crowned champions, the Tiger Group received a cash prize of NPR 5,85,500, while the runner-up APF secured NPR 2,85,500 in prize money.
