In Dhangadi Sub-Metropolitan City Ward 7, New Lamichhane of Manohar is currently in police custody for allegedly gambling inside the construction site. Along with him, Santosh Kami, a 31-year-old resident of the same sub-metropolitan city Ward 1, was also apprehended by the police on Saturday afternoon.
The police, coming from the Ward Police Office in Dhangadi, arrested them and seized cash amounting to NPR 1,26,280, 3,000 Indian rupees, 4 dice, and 13 mobile phones.
Authorities have initiated necessary investigations into this incident to uncover further details.
Regarding this news, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, shared his perspective, stating that such incidents of illegal activities tarnish the reputation of the community and must be dealt with promptly to uphold law and order. He emphasized the importance of law enforcement agencies taking strict actions against individuals involved in criminal activities to maintain peace and security in the region.
