In the final match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), the police have arrested two individuals who were behaving indecently. The arrested individuals are 21-year-old Ashok Saud from Doti Adarsh Gaupalika and 19-year-old Ganesh Saud from Doti Silgadhi Nagarpalika. This information was provided by the District Police Office, Kathmandu, to the police inspector Navaraj Adhikari.
The incident took place during a match between Janakpur Bolts and Sudurpashchim Royals at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, organized by the Nepal Cricket Association. There was a dispute among some individuals following the game.
In this regard, some individuals were found using disrespectful language, attempting to disrupt communal harmony, and behaving indecently towards various individuals. Based on public complaints and investigations, the police have informed that they have arrested these individuals.
The police have also mentioned that the search for other individuals involved in the incident is ongoing.
