In Kailali, Nepal, two individuals were arrested with a total of NPR 1,746,900 in cash. The arrests were made by a police team from the Tharuhat Battalion near the Bhajani Municipality-5 Gulriyaghat Bansar office. One of the detainees, Aman Kumar Garg, a 32-year-old from Tikunia in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, India, was found with NPR 896,660 along with an Indian motorcycle bearing the registration number UP 32 HHC 6753.

According to the spokesperson of the District Police Office, Inspector Lokraj Joshi, Garg had concealed the money in a compartment attached to his waist while riding the motorcycle. The authorities have initiated necessary legal actions against him and have sent him to the Bhansar office for further investigation.

Similarly, in Tikapur Municipality-1, Arman Chaudhary, a 19-year-old, was apprehended with NPR 531,400, including illegal Indian currency. Based on information that Chaudhary was carrying hidden Indian currency, a police team from Tikapur went to the Arman Dhaga and Tailoring Suppliers store to conduct a search. The money was discovered during the inspection, and preparations are underway to hand him over to the Kohalpur Revenue Investigation Office for further legal proceedings.
