Kiev, Moscow – The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) carried out a drone attack on a military factory in the Udmurt Republic in central Russia, over 1300 kilometers away from Ukraine. The attack resulted in two of the domestically manufactured “Lyuty” drones hitting their target, causing a fire to break out at the facility.

The incident has stirred tensions between Ukraine and Russia, with the use of drones to carry out such attacks adding a new dimension to the ongoing conflicts between the two nations. The Udmurt Republic, located in the Volga Federal District of Russia, is known for its industrial capabilities, making it a strategic target for such an assault.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed concerns over the escalating situation, emphasizing the need for diplomatic efforts to prevent further hostilities. He highlighted the potential repercussions of such actions on the already fragile relations between Ukraine and Russia, urging both sides to exercise restraint and engage in dialogue to resolve their differences peacefully.
