In Kathmandu today, the stock market saw a significant increase for the fourth consecutive day, with the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rising by 0.02 points to reach 2705.90. This uptrend has been welcomed by investors and market participants.
On Wednesday, a total of 62,884 transactions involving 1,058,222 shares were traded, amounting to a total turnover of NPR 7,450,187,710. This indicates a substantial volume of trading activity in the market, with investors actively buying and selling shares.
The stock prices of 199 companies witnessed an increase, while 49 companies experienced a decrease in their share prices. Notably, investors showed increased interest in Radhi Bidyut Company today, highlighting a positive sentiment towards this particular company.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his opinion on this development, stating that the consecutive rise in the stock market index reflects a growing confidence among investors in the market. He emphasized the importance of monitoring the market trends closely to make informed investment decisions in the current economic climate.
