In a recent development, the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance mutual cooperation. The signing took place during a program held in Chongqing, China, on Sunday.
The memorandum outlines various areas of collaboration such as party building, state governance, worker training, and sharing of experiences to strengthen mutual cooperation. Additionally, the parties will work together in areas like school development, curriculum building, teacher training, and promoting internationalization and professionalism in education, as informed by Ramdeep Acharya, a member of the delegation.
The memorandum highlights the creation of high-level visits, teacher exchanges, joint conferences, workshops, and educational dialogues to build a high-level mechanism. Delegates led by Maoist Centre Secretary Devanath Sharma have been on a visit to China since last Wednesday.
