After 32 years, the Vaalijang-Huwas road that connects the southern part of the district with Syangja has reopened. The road, which was initially constructed in 2049 BS, has remained unpaved until now. The stretch of road includes areas from Bhume to Archalbot to Tamadi to Dumre Bhanjyang.
This reconnection of the Vaalijang-Huwas road is significant for the local communities as it will improve transportation and connectivity in the region. The road had been in a state of disrepair for decades, causing inconvenience for residents and hindering economic activities in the area. With the road now being repaired and reopened, it is expected to facilitate better access to markets, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions for the people living in these areas.
Ramesh Khatri, representing Kansai Nepal News, expressed his satisfaction with the reopening of the Vaalijang-Huwas road. He emphasized the importance of infrastructure development in rural areas to enhance the quality of life for residents and spur economic growth. Khatri commended the efforts of the authorities in reviving this vital road link and highlighted the positive impact it would have on the local community.
